Delete, save or restore profile and what happens when you exmatriculate

What happens if you no longer log in to the Sandkasten platform?
If, for whatever reason, you have not logged in to the platform for nine months, you will receive an email reminder.
If you do not log in within the next three months, we will assume that you no longer wish to be part of the co-operative campus design and will delete your profile.
If you are a team member of projects, organisations, sponsorships or should you lend things, please take care of a successor so that your previous commitment is not in vain.
To continue your commitment, simply log in again. Your profile will not be deleted.
Exmatriculated and now?
You have finished your studies and will be de-registered. This means you will also lose your user ID and will no longer be able to log in to the Sandkasten platform. However, there are ways to stay involved with Sandkasten even after your studies.
You register with your private e-mail address on the Sandkasten platform and start a new profile.
or: You wait for the email reminder “Save your Sandkasten profile” and reply to it with your y-number and your private email address and the Sandkasten team can save your profile.
Hint: You can continue to use your TU e-mail address and user ID for up to one month after exmatriculation before it is permanently deleted.
Delete manually
You no longer want to be part of the co-operative campus design and want to delete your profile manually? Then simply log in and go to Your profile in the user menu; there you can delete your profile and decide whether your previous involvement should remain visible or be anonymised.
You missed it or changed your mind
You can restore your profile up to three months after it has been deleted. All you have to do is log in again with your previous login details and confirm your profile restoration on the following page. :-)
