After creating your project on the Sandkasten platform, you will be assigned a coach. This coach will support you for the entire duration of your project with submitting applications, the campaign and much more. But what exactly does your coach’s support look like?
How much a project coach has to do with a project also depends on the project team itself. Some work very independently and don’t need much support. Other teams receive a lot of guidance and helpful tips and tricks from their coach. It is important that the coach does not take over the actual work of the project team, but only provides support and answers questions. The real work is done by the project teams themselves.

What are the tasks of a project coach?

Your project coach has different tasks depending on the project phase: They can proofread applications to the Sandkasten committee for you (but the coach should not write or submit them for you!), support you in your search for patrons, offer support with the campaign and give you valuable advice. The project coach will also approve your financing plan or notify you when the implementation application has been approved.

What can I expect from my coach?

You can expect a transparent way of working, reliability and helpful tips and tricks for the implementation of your project idea from your project coach. The project coach is available to answer any questions you may have. However, your project coach is not there to implement the project for you and do the work for you, for example by writing applications for you or drawing up your financial plan. He or she only facilitates your work and is your supporter.
